With Covid mostly behind us, we look forward to a fresh year of opportunity and promise. The Ukraine war will no doubt come to pass and everyone will get back to rebuilding their lives. The task of healing and building the world is an ongoing ‘project’ we are all a part of. More than ever, 2023 needs to be a year of ‘think good, do good’. The world has been through a lot in the last three years. As our individual energies heal, we remind ourselves of the mission to rebuild Dharma in the world, doing what we can to make the world a place conducive to individual growth and the pursuit of happiness and fulfilment. We all have a role to play. That is the nature of Dharma….there are no unused parts.
If you consider yourself a good and caring person, this is the time when the world needs you to be more active and to act from your place of goodness. Our two biggest enemies are ‘what’s in it for me?’ and ‘Why bother?’. The society we live in is a product of a million choices made daily by people like you and me. So, ‘what’s in it for me’ is the chance to live in a society where there is opportunity and optimism, where people are good and considerate to each other and where there is peace and prosperity for all. That is also the reason we do need to ‘bother’, because if we don’t, the world will continue on a downward trajectory.
If you care and want to be part of this mission, read about how you can be a part of it right where you are. All it takes is a large number of people doing small things and making small changes to choices we make.
